Meet Dr. Vatche Seraderian

Anne Wucherpfennig, DMD

Dr. Anne Wucherpfenning completed her general dental education, as well as a doctoral thesis that studied the function of the blood vessels in the periodontal ligament, at the University of Erlangen in Germany in 1987. She then spent ten years at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and the Forsyth Institute in Boston studying bone resorption and bone formation. During that time, Dr. Wucherpfenning received an Individual National Research Service Award from the National Institutes of Health, and authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in the field of oral biology and endodontics.

While she enjoyed research very much, Dr. Wucherpfenning missed interacting with patients. She received her certificate in endodontics from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1999 and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Harvard Dental School in 2002. Since then, she has been practicing in several multi-specialty offices around Boston.
